are drones less scary if tiny? if they look like a harmless insect? developed at harvard, the robobee sports carbon fiber piezoelectric wings that mimic the contraction of muscles, allowing the tiny creation to flap its wings and fly. further mirroring real insects, lifetimes are short, with material fatigue setting in after a mere 15 min. at least for now.
